7th National Girl Scouts Camp organized by the Girl Scouts of Taiwan
Objectives:
- To celebrate the 100 years of the foundation of the Republic of China & Centenary of Worldwide Girl Guiding/Girl Scouting
- To learn the history of the Republic of China and local culture of Taiwan
- To enhance scouting knowledge and outdoor skills
- To develop friendship, service spirit through activities and team work
Theme: Together we can change our world
Dates: January 22-26, 2011
Venue: Chen Kong Lin Recruit Training Center, Taichung County
Home Hospitality: January 26-28, 2011(2 nights and 3 days after the camp)
Participants: 5 participants per foreign country.
Girl Scouts (aged 12 years over) and Leaders.
Camp Fee: USD250 per person, including meals, program activities, transport to and from
Taoyuan International Airport to the campsite, camp souvenirs.
Program and Activities: National Defense Education, Global Action Theme Activities, City
Excursion, Bike Riding, Hiking, Badges Work, Campfire,
International Night.
Individual Equipments: Sleeping bag, GS uniform, toiletries, clothing, personal cutlery.
(All accommodation will be indoor thus tents and sleeping mats
are not need)
